I'm officially discharged from my physiotheraphy sessions! =) No more SGH every other two weeks. It's a pain in the ass. Although I'm only 90% healed because I still feel something when I tried to bend forward but at least now I can resume back to my normal life, like wearing pants. =) And the theraphist knew that I slacked in my daily exercises too and told me that if I dun do it regularly, it might relapse! ok this scares me.. So she said I can do it on weekdays and rest on weekends. Lolx.. sounds like working rite?
Just when I'm discharged, it's my grandma's turn to do physiotheraphy. She broke her hip bone while painting her own house. Yes, she is that active and she paints the whole house every single year. But this year, she had a fainting spell and fell. Broke her hip bone and had a few stitches on her head. Sighz. Even simple walking is a problem. Sianz.
She used to be so active - will go out daily to visit friends, go mahjong-ing and now she's like so handicapped. Walking a few steps with the walking 'cart' (I dunno wat u call that) is painful for her too. Mum and me have to take turns to be home to make sure that she is being attended to. Thank God that I'm on leave now but it also means I have to sacrifice some of my time because I cannot go out as and when I want to now. But I guess it's ok. At least I get to see her daily now rather than 5-6 times per year. I guess it's really my fault. Every weekend I just have tons of excuses of not visiting. Busy la, busy again and busy as usual with I dunno what.. Going out with friends? At Ben's home? Meals with Ben's family. I really dunno but i think I'm a crap seriously. You know, as we grow older, seems that we get our own life and forget about the old. Well, not really forget but you get what I mean la. Just less time...
I dunno when she will start hers because old people a little stubborn. She kept insisting the hospital is trying to cheat her money to get her to exercise quoting that she will get well herself. She even refused to eat certain medicines then she will just selectively choose those she wants to eat. -_-""
Through this fall, doctor also found out that she has mild diabetes and there she is always craving for sugary stuffs. -_-"" Not that we are giving in to her but she really has no appetite to eat any other things at all so rather than she's not eating, we give her the things she wants to eat la. I dunno which is more potent.. to eat sweet things or dun give the body food at all... Anyone can tell me?
anyway, she will be staying here for sometime. Aunts and mum are discussing is we should get a maid but if so, my home is already so cramped up, how to sleep? =( I really dun wanna move into Ben's home this early. I still love my bed and my room. Doctor urged us to put her into a nursing home for 1 month so that the nurses and doctors there can monitor her but no one agreed to that. It sounded so unfilial and expensive.
Oh well, I pray that God will heal her quickly so that life would be normal again for her. I bet she missed her mahjong sessions. When in hospital and immobilised, she still can call my aunt to buy Toto and 4D for her... -_-"" I can see she's really bored and full time gambler. Lolx.
