Ok I did not get him an Prada, LV or Gucci but he requested that he shoudl start his skin care regime to lessen the wrinkles so da-ta, bought him a whole range of skin care products. talking about metrosexual.. haha. He's feeling the stress now seeing wrinkles at age...ahem... 29 :p
Anyway, we went to Changi Village Hotel to have local buffet delights. I'm very amazed that at this tiny part of Singapore which is so far away from civilazation lies another mini civilazation. The road in is filled with trees, grasses, camps dark and lifeless but a sudden left turn at a certain corner, it's full of human, beautiful lights and the hotel. The hotel itself left quite an impression on me because it's nothing sleazy and in fact, I would call it nice and decent, like those you find in Bangkok. The sis recommended the place but dun expect any discounts cos it's as expensive an any other buffets in any other hotels.
Besides the skin care products, I got him another suppose-to-be-a-surprise-but-not item. An elmo jelly cake. Pretty sick of the traditional cakes so went online to search for it. Apparently, only one shop in Singapore sells it. Wanted to get his zodiac sign or some Koala bear but they have limited designs so I chose the Elmo :p
I'm not sure if he enjoyed himself because there were nothing spectacular in my planning everytime. He on the other hand will thrill me with surprises but mine is pretty constant. Anyway, happy birthday to you PP!
